GCW Story

"Grand Central Watch, established in 1952, has spent the last 70 years building their team, perfecting their craft and bringing the art of fine watchmaking to their customers in New York and beyond"

Grand Central Watch operates from a state-of-the-art workshop in the heart of Manhattan.  Their expert team is lead by a master Swiss-trained watchmaker who previously led the manufacturer service team for several of the most prestigious watch brands.

With direct parts accounts with many of the world’s leading manufacturers, Grand Central Watch completes all service with only genuine parts according to individual brand protocols.

In addition to their current relationships, they have curated an extensive inventory of discontinued vintage watch parts critical to the restoration process. Their team has decades of experience servicing all brands including Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Omega and many more.

Most importantly, Grand Central Watch is a third-generation family owned and operated business. Their craft is their personal legacy as well as their professional one. They believe your experience maintaining your watch should be just as enjoyable as the one you had purchasing it. They put quality customer service first and have built and maintained a loyal following in their community and industry.

SERVICING AND RESTORATION

ANTIQUARY WATCH in partnership with GRAND CENTRAL WATCH is here to assist with any maintenance, repair and restoration needs you may have.  Whether it's a routine service, case refinishing, damage repair, or a movement restoration of an early wristwatch, most requests can be accommodated.

Working in collaboration, we pay close attention to keeping historically important details intact, such as preserving hand engraved inventory numbers of a dual signature Tiffany & Co. retailed timepiece. Every timepiece requires different approach on restoration with focus on preservation.

Our goal is to maintain accuracy and longevity of timepieces from nearly every age.  Utilizing ANTIQUARY's archive library, which features over 1000 reference books, original catalogues & advertisements, early auction books, and periodicals from the period, we aim to balance functionality with originality, and strive to represent the watches as accurate as possible.
