THE NATURE OF VINTAGE WATCHES

Vintage and Antique watches (watches 25 years or older) do not come with the same performance as modern watches. Their movements are often made with different materials than watches made in modern process of today. Many of these items were made or assembled by hand, and they do not have the same degree of precision as CNC and computer generated production of today.  As a result, these watches do not maintain the same water resistance, timekeeping accuracy and durability (depending on age) as modern timepieces. A higher degree of care and service intervals are needed for modern day usage.  Most vintage watches have lived long lives, and condition will vary from example to example based on its past environment. It is strongly recommended against wearing a vintage timepiece for the following activities: golf, running, any sport that has a ball, any activity with hard physical contact or impact. Vintage watches are very much like vintage cars which do not accelerate, stop or handle like a modern car will. All sales are considered final. We do not rent watches. However, if an item arrives not as described, grossly misstated, or not in appropriate working order, you shall be entitled to return said item for a full refund, at the discretion of ANTIQUARY WATCH, not to be unreasonably withheld.  All returns must be requested no later than ten (10) calendar days after receipt of the item, and the item must be returned in the exact same condition in which it was received along with any accessories and documentation that accompanied the item when received. All items have detailed photography of its condition before being shipped or delivered to the buyer.  All Refunds are done in USD and we hold no responsibility and will not compensate for any fluctuations in currency exchange/conversion. Refunds are returned in the same manner as payment was received.
